Steward, operator, strategist, catalyst: today’s finance leaders must wear many hats, concerned with everything from maximising shareholder value to creating corporate agility to adjust to rapidly changing regulatory environment. To be successful they must enable their department and the larger organization to run agile, frictionless operations, so they can adapt and scale while ensuring compliance across an ever-changing competitive landscape.
But the buzzword of the day, “digital transformation”, isn’t the savior the media or consultant agencies would have you believe. 45% of executives believe transformation initiatives were a complete waste of time, with over a third of businesses spending $500k+ on transformation strategies alone in the last 12 months. Obviously, this approach isn’t going to work.
So how do you approach this critical challenge? How do you create operational fluidity to drive improvements in your finance operations? Where do you start? And how can you ensure your efforts will actually deliver specific measurable improvements, such as increased working capital, faster financial operations cycle times, or lower DSO?
Join Meet The Boss, in partnership with Celonis, to find out how you can not only identify the friction points in your financial operations, but also how to take action to eliminate these friction points and deliver quantified value for the business.
