Fire resistant (FR) clothing is a vital asset for any refinery. But with old, uncomfortable fabrics and clothes in circulation, heat stress is a very real and present danger. Ensuring that we’re using the right products for the job is crucial to avoiding this – and to keeping workers safe.
In looking to ensure that employees are best protected, we need to make sure that they’re well trained, equipment is up-to-date and 2112-compliant – and above all, that FR products are comfortable, breathable and durable.
With flash fires, thermal hazards and arc flash incidents all threats to everyday safety, this MeetTheBoss Live evening is designed specifically to explore how we drive best practices when it comes to FR clothing.
