Kaitlyn Schulze, Global Business Applications Innovation Lead, Avanade
As Innovation lead for Business Applications, Kaitlyn partners with customers to develop and showcase the best examples of new and emerging technologies in action. Prior to joining Avanade, Kaitlyn worked for Microsoft as a Technical Evangelist developing early adoption customer programs. She also spent 10 years in management consulting, concentrating on the manufacturing and oil and gas industries. Kaitlyn has a Masters of Business Administration as a Tauber Operations Fellow from the University of Michigan and an Economics degree from Michigan State University. She lives in Seattle with her husband, five year old son Max, and two dogs.
Michael Gardiner, P.Eng, Manufacturing Industry Solutions at Microsoft Canada
Michael Gardiner leads Microsoft’s digital transformation initiatives in the Canadian manufacturing industry. In his current role, he provides guidance on Industry 4.0 and helps manufacturers enhance engineering, operations, and services using Industrial IoT, Intelligent Cloud & Edge computing, and Artificial Intelligence.
For over 20 years, Mr. Gardiner has served manufacturers of all sizes who compete in the global automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, high tech, resources, and consumer goods industries.
Mr. Gardiner earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA. He has been registered as a Professional Engineer since 2000.
Matthew Kim is a Managing Director of Accenture Industry X.0 Group

He has 25+ years of technology consulting and delivery experiences with deep understanding in business challenges in Telecommunication, Electronics, Manufacturing, Robotics and Automotive industries. Matthew has been a trusted advisor of many global companies looking for harmonization between strengthening core business and adopting innovations driven by emerging technologies.
Matthew has been passionate to share his thoughts within his organization and with industry communities on how traditional industries will reimagine and redefine the way of working. He is also one of Accenture patent holders for the Operation System of UAV and Transparent AI.
