Mike Joplin

Mike Joplin, Director of Information Systems at Oasis Petroleum

As the technology lead at Oasis, Mike provides executive leadership directing operations to increase productivity and decrease costs through process analysis and appropriate technology implementation. He is responsible for driving focuses on research, data conversion, and deployment of Accounting & Land systems, Drilling & Completion systems, and Field Data Gathering systems for the organization. He also successfully redesigned a proper infrastructure to accommodate Oasis’ rapid growth.  With extensive experience in information systems and executive roles, Mike understands the technical side of issues, while also giving appropriate consideration to business objectives. Mike attended Murry State University and holds a Business of Science degree in Engineering Physics.
