Confidence for Wireless Network Operators to Innovate in the Connected World
Innovation is occurring in all aspects of the wireless service provider’s business. Cell phone are no longer just for making and receiving phone calls. Today, smartphones are personal entertainment hubs. With smartphones, users are unleashing new opportunities for services as well as consuming bandwidth with over-the-top (OTT) applications and services. To increase nimbleness, operators are evaluating virtualization (NFV/SDN) technologies. As the pace of innovation with smartphones, services, and infrastructure continue to evolve rapidly, the challenge for network operators is understanding how they can leverage network intelligence as part of their big data efforts, understanding the user experience, and having a plan to move forward.
- How is your organization gaining an end-to-end view of services performance?
- How is your organization leveraging big data to understand user trends and behavior?
- How are you leveraging subscriber trends to develop services, usage plans, and customer retention programs?
- How are you leveraging service-level agreements (SLA) for competitive differentiation?
- How will you move to new technologies like NFV/SDN and WiFi with confidence that you won’t impact the user experience?
- Is there a win-win strategy for dealing with OTT players?
- How are organizations working to reduce service outages, and how can they be proactive in identifying emerging problems?
