While the benefits are clear, healthcare organizations have traditionally been reluctant to embrace the full potential of the cloud. Security and compliance, as well as the challenge of migrating and securing legacy applications and infrastructures in the cloud – not to mention a lack of demonstrable use cases in the healthcare space – are often cited as key concerns.
But with demands for mobile working, connected care and SaaS applications increasingly seeing workloads shift to cloud environments – and with the number and variety of those environments growing daily – it is time for healthcare to take full advantage of the power of the cloud. And that means addressing those security concerns head-on.
So how do healthcare organizations deploy effective security for a multi-cloud world? How do you secure both access to the cloud and your employees’ usage of it? How do you get greater visibility into multiple cloud environments and reduce the risk of attack? And what do the tools and methodologies for greater cloud security look like?
Join us as we explore how Cisco’s vision of “visibility and protection everywhere” can be realized to secure access and usage of the cloud, and give organizations confidence that all employees and data are protected. And hear how Memorial Hermann used Cisco Umbrella to take advantage of the cloud by securing its perimeter in a year of high-profile breaches.
- What challenges are you facing (or have you faced) in implementing cloud security solutions? What are your concerns? And for those who have already adopted cloud, how did you overcome those challenges?
- What does the advent of the multi-cloud era mean for you in terms of security? How are you managing security across multiple cloud environments? How do you get visibility?
- Where do you see the largest benefit in moving your security architecture to the cloud? How can it help you address concerns such as ransomware, malware and C2 callbacks?
