The challenges of a mobile workforce: the future of workplace technology
Venue: Hotel De L’Europe Amsterdam
Innovative new technologies are changing the ways we interact with the world, in every aspect of life and work. With a generation of digital natives fast replacing today’s digital dinosaurs as the employees of tomorrow and constant disruptive innovations coming into play, re-evaluating the ways that we work from the ground up is crucial.
So which technologies can provide realistic business value now? With the speed of advancement the trick is in avoiding the red herrings when it comes to new tech – taking the smart gambles and remaining agile enough to keep up with the next big thing.
With key business use cases being defined every day, widespread adoption of wearables and immersive tech is undoubtedly the direction we’re headed towards and with that in mind: what steps should we be taking now to create a mobile workforce that harnesses and integrates new technologies seamlessly into day to day processes?
Going beyond the now, what will work look like in the near future? The traditional office may become a thing of the past entirely, superseded by virtual workspaces filled with a set of virtual employees empowered to contribute and collaborate from anywhere in the world.
