Achieving predictive operations at scale: without requiring data scientists

31st March 2020, Houston

Venue: Morton’s, The Steakhouse

Synopsis

Over the last two years $1 trillion of production has been lost in unoptimized manufacturing and process operations. Nearly $400 billion was downtime that could have been predicted and $250 billion were production quality issues and scrap that could have been avoided.
While companies have made large investments in industrial IoT:

  • 90% have not seen sufficient payback
  • 80% have not scaled from PoC to production

So how have organizations managed to extract value and scale their digital transformation successes?
The truth is it doesn’t take a team of data scientists. It just takes powerful but easy-to-use systems that complement your personnel’s domain expertise. Operational AI automatically discovers and predicts conditions in realtime, helps root cause issues, and can be deployed across your operations. And the results speak for themselves.

  • Off-spec events predicted days in advance. Critical equipment failures weeks in advance.
  • 3-5 times ROI by realizing significant improvement in production uptime, quality and yield.
  • 90% reduction in time to value versus data science approaches.

Join Falkonry and a select group of industry thought leaders to learn how Operational AI has enabled teams to quickly deploy predictive operations at scale by automatically discovering, predicting and explaining behaviors that impact operations.

Agenda

6:00 – 6:30 pm – Welcome Reception & Drinks
6:30 – 6:40 pm – Introduction from Master of Ceremonies
6:40 – 7:00 pm – Keynote speaker
7:00 – 9:00 pm – Three-course dinner complemented with table discussion points
9:00 – 9:30 pm – Wrap up from table champions and closing remarks from host

Discussion Points

  • What production challenges do your manufacturing and process operations face? Where do downtime reduction and production quality improvement rank in priority?
  • Have you applied AI or machine learning solutions to address these challenges? What has worked well and not worked well?
  • How do you evaluate deployment success? How important are time to value, ease of use and scalability?

Keynote Speaker

Nikunj Mehta, Founder & CEO of Falkonry

Nikunj founded Falkonry after realizing that very valuable operational data produced in industrial infrastructure goes mostly unutilized in the energy, manufacturing and transportation sectors. Nikunj believes hard business problems can be solved by combining machine learning, user-oriented design and partnerships.

Prior to Falkonry, Nikunj led software architecture and customer success for C3 IoT. Earlier, he led innovation teams at Oracle focused on database technology and led the creation of the IndexedDB standard for databases embedded inside all modern browsers. He holds both Masters and Ph. D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from University of Mumbai. He has contributed to standards at both W3C and IETF, and is a member of the ACM.

About Falkonry

Falkonry enables predictive operations at scale for companies looking to achieve significant improvement in production uptime, quality and yield. Falkonry’s Operational AI systems enable manufacturing and process teams to quickly deploy predictive maintenance or quality solutions by automatically discovering, predicting and explaining behaviors that impact their operations – without requiring data scientists. These products easily scale across the enterprise either on-premises, in the cloud or on the edge. Customers achieve initial results in as little as a few weeks, enabling them to save millions of dollars in operating costs and achieve a 3-5 times ROI annually.
